Habitat for Humanity

A Brush with Kindness

A Brush with Kindness serves low-income homeowners struggling to maintain a decent place to live. Much of the work focuses on seniors, the disabled and single-parent families. Our faith moves us to share with those in need and to make this program available to our community.

Volunteers Needed for
Habitat for Humanity ~ July 15-17

St Olaf is sponsoring a Habitat for Humanity volunteer work group for Thursday, July 15 through Saturday, July 17. Work will involve painting/fixing up an existing home. All skill and experience levels welcome and you can volunteer for one, two, or all three days. It’s a great way to help those less fortunate and enjoy fellowship with others within your parish at the same time. St. Olaf has also pledged $3,000 to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity as part of our volunteer commitment. Tax-deductible donations towards this pledge would be very much appreciated.

If you have questions, want to make a donation, or would like to volunteer, please contact Mike Nemanich (mnemanich@aol.com, 763-545-1125 ) or Joan Miltenberger (612-767-6211, jmiltenberger@saintolaf.org).
