A Brush with Kindness serves low-income homeowners struggling to maintain a decent place to live. Much of the work focuses on seniors, the disabled and single-parent families. Our faith moves us to share with those in need and to make this program available to our community.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this year’s Habitat for Humanity project a success! There were 39 volunteers who worked tirelessly over the course of three days. The project was “A Brush with Kindness,” which involved fixing up and painting an existing home in south Minneapolis. The owner was having trouble financially and was unable to maintain her home, so this volunteer work was of great assistance to her. The house looks great, and both the owner as well as her neighbors expressed gratitude for all of your hard work!
As part of our volunteer commitment, St Olaf pledged $3,000 to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Because of your generosity, we were able to achieve that goal. Thank you to all who so generously gave toward our pledge!
